As usual, I’m spending time contemplating a quilt layout instead of just sewing it! I got my One Block Wonder assembled, but it came out a little narrower than I wanted. I had four repeats left, so I cut and sewed a bunch of four patches. They are cute, but I’m not sure how to use them. I don’t think I want to use them all. Maybe a just a few on each side embedded in the blue border. I think I’m going to have to load it into EQ6 to see what it really is going to look like. For now, it will just stay on the design wall until inspiration hits me:

I am a semi-retired, very happily married quilter and papercrafter from Northern Texas. Whenever I am in town, I like to hang out with friends and either quilt or make cards.

I think just a few embedded in the borders will be enough. The rest could go on the back….
